From records to machines
Alexander T. Rose’s relationship with electronic music began with his father’s trance and techno records. From learning to DJ on an old controller, he moved into drum machines and synthesizers, teaching himself to produce through hands-on experimentation. That curiosity eventually became Analog Lab Brussels: his studio and a space for others to create, play and share music.
His journey has also involved living with dialysis. His artist biography describes his EP Resilience as music made during treatment, and he continues to speak openly with his community about balancing his health with his creative life.
A community built through sharing
He started sharing on YouTube with a straightforward ambition: reach more listeners and get more DJ gigs. Since then, his channel has grown to more than 80,000 subscribers, with hardware jams, live performances and an ongoing exchange with the people he calls his tribe.
